The Africa Memory Game was born from the need to create an educational tool that was fun and easy to help children increase their knowledge of the History, Geography, and Culture of the different countries in the continent.

We have grown so much over the years and have diversified our products to include games, books, events, toys, and a boutique of clothing and accessories sourced from our partners in Africa. We collaborate with local artists and we often honor them by naming our toys after their maker.

Africa Needs U (“ANU”) is a non-profit advocacy organization. Our vision is a world where majority of the people are united in the goal of a better life and development of others in the same world through increased giving. The organization was formed with the aim of encouraging a significant increase in the level of giving towards the physical and spiritual development of others around us especially in the African continent.

Valerie's love for ginger drinks started at a very young age in her hometown of Freetown, Sierra Leone where ginger was a staple. By the time she was a teenager, Valerie mastered the creation of her own unique ginger drinks.
